Soil Prep
Proper soil prep is critical to the long term success of your sod. Failing to prep your soil correctly can cause failure of your new investment. The prep process can involve soil samples, tilling, leveling, and more. Monarch Sod offers installation so you can enjoy your weekends and leave the hard work to us!
Step 3
Proper Installation
When installing sod, it's important to keep your joints tight and make sure you leave no gaps in between the sod. A brick pattern or staggered pattern is suggested
While this seems like a simple concept, the size, shape and slope of your yard can present difficulties for inexperienced homeowners.
Step 4
Proper Watering
For best results, water new sod 3 times a day, 15 minutes at each station, for initial 10-14 days.
This is critical to allow the roots to take hold and give strength and durability to your lawn.
